EidosMedia
EidosMedia S.p.A. is a private software company that helps news and publishing teams create and deliver content. It was founded in 1999 and is based in Milan, Italy, with offices around the world. Its main products are Méthode, a content management system for multimedia publishing, and Cobalt, a framework for delivering digital content. Méthode is XML-based and available in the cloud.
The company serves large publishers. Early Italian customers included Il Sole 24 Ore, RCS MediaGroup, and Adnkronos, with the Financial Times of London as its first international client in 2002. Other customers include The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, The Financial Times, The Times, Le Figaro, Les Échos and Le Monde, plus many publishers in Europe, the USA, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. EidosMedia was acquired by Hg Capital in 2015.
