Eddie Ahern (born 6 December 1977 in County Tipperary, Ireland) is an Irish jockey who has been banned from racing for ten years by the British Horseracing Authority on corruption charges. He was the Irish champion apprentice in 1997 and began riding in Ireland in 1994. He later rode mainly in Britain from Newmarket. His best year was 2006 when he rode 140 winners, including a three-win day at Glorious Goodwood.

Across his career in the UK and Ireland, Ahern had 1,252 wins from 11,511 rides (as of May 2013). His major wins include the Moyglare Stud Stakes (1999) and the Irish St. Leger (2011); he also won the Northumberland Plate (2010) and the Watership Down Stud Sales Race (2005).

Ahern has had disciplinary problems. In 2007 he was banned for three months for a whip offence. In 2008 he missed a race because he was in the hospitality box, costing him prize money and a fine. In May 2013 he received a ten-year ban after being found guilty of conspiring to commit corrupt practices in five races between 2010 and 2011 and of passing information for lay betting to footballer Neil Clement. Clement was also found guilty, and several associates were charged or disqualified.
