East Valley High School (California)
East Valley High School is a public high school in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. It is located at 5525 Vineland Avenue, North Hollywood, CA 91601, and opened on October 3, 2006. The school serves grades 9–12 and had about 538 students in the 2023–2024 school year, with a student–teacher ratio of about 17:1. The principal is Flaminio Zarate, and there are roughly 31.5 full-time staff. The Falcons are the school mascot, and teams compete in the East Valley League of the CIF Los Angeles City Section. The motto is “Keep it under 7, go Falcons!” The campus is shared with The Science Academy STEM Magnet. Feeder middle schools include Walter Reed Middle School, Sun Valley Middle School, and Roy Romer Middle School. Rival schools are North Hollywood High School and Robert Fulton College Preparatory School. The school publishes The Falcon Newsletter, and the official website is East Valley High School.
