Earlville Historic District
Earlville Historic District is a national historic district in the village of Earlville, spanning parts of Chenango and Madison Counties, New York. The district covers about 85 acres and includes 164 contributing buildings. It encompasses the village’s central commercial area and surrounding residential streets along Main Street and two side streets. Buildings were mainly built between 1880 and 1920, with some dating back to about 1830. The architectural styles represented include Second Empire, Italianate, and Late Gothic Revival. The Earlville Opera House is located within the district and is listed separately on the National Register. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 29, 1982.
