Eagle Lake Park
Eagle Lake Park is a county park in Largo, Florida. It covers about 163 acres in a suburban area. The park came from two pieces of land bought by Pinellas County in 1998 and 2006. The land was once owned by the Taylor family, early settlers in the area. It was used as a pasture and later became an orange grove. Today the park has miles of hiking and walking trails, shelters, playgrounds, and plenty of wildlife, all around a central lake. The park opened in 2010.
