Dungen is the debut studio album by the Swedish band Dungen. It was released in 2001 by Subliminal Sounds as a limited vinyl of 500 copies. Due to high demand, it was reissued on CD in 2005 with extra material and renamed Dungen 1999-2001. The album blends psychedelic rock with Swedish folk and progg influences, running about 37 minutes (the CD version is around 45 minutes). All tracks were written by Gustav Ejstes. Several songs on this album are early versions of tracks that would appear on their second album.
