Due to Lack of Interest, Tomorrow Has Been Canceled is a 1969 book by American writer Irene Kampen. It details her return to the University of Wisconsin–Madison after 25 years and her attempt to adapt to the student culture of the late 1960s. Although the book is labeled non-fiction, Kampen includes some fictionalized students and other characters. The expression has appeared in other works, including Derek Jarman’s 1987 film The Last of England, the last track of Gary McFarland’s 1968 jazz album America the Beautiful, and the Kaiser Chiefs’ 2007 song Ruby. It was also used as the title of a 1971 BBC Horizon documentary about predictions of ecological disaster, focusing on Paul Ehrlich.
