Draga, Nova Gorica

Draga is a small settlement near Dornberk in the Municipality of Nova Gorica, western Slovenia. It lies in the Vipava Valley in the Slovenian Littoral region (Gorizia Statistical Region). The area covers 0.32 square kilometers and sits at an elevation of about 60.7 meters. In 2002, 90 people lived there. The name Draga comes from the Slovene word draga, meaning “a small, narrow valley,” describing its geography.
