Dispatches from the Edge
Dispatches from the Edge: A memoir of War, Disasters, and Survival is a 2006 non-fiction book by American journalist Anderson Cooper. The memoir blends his frontline reporting from wars and disasters with personal stories, including growing up as the son of Gloria Vanderbilt and the effects of his father’s early death and his older brother’s suicide. The book became a bestseller, debuting at No. 1 on The New York Times Non-Fiction Best Sellers list in June 2006. It is a biographical memoir about Cooper’s experiences and family.
