Disa pillansii
Disa pillansii is a perennial orchid that grows as a geophyte, meaning it survives from underground storage organs. It belongs to the genus Disa and is part of the fynbos in South Africa. The species is endemic to the Western Cape, found only in that region. Its full scientific name is Disa pillansii L. Bolus.
