2016 Rayo OKC season

The 2016 season was Rayo OKC’s only year. They played in the North American Soccer League (NASL), the second division of American soccer. The club was owned by Raúl Martín Presa. Alen Marcina began the season as head coach, but resigned on August 1 and was replaced by Gerard Nus. Home games were at Miller Stadium.

In the NASL, they competed in the spring and fall seasons. In the U.S. Open Cup, they reached the Third Round, where they faced Oklahoma City Energy.

Michel was the top scorer with 15 goals. The highest home attendance was 6,416 on April 2 against Edmonton; the lowest was 926 on September 11 against Jacksonville. The average home league attendance was about 3,210 (3,288 overall).
