Desire (Yello song)
Desire is a synthpop song by Swiss electronic duo Yello. It was released on June 4, 1985 as the third single from their album Stella. The track is 3 minutes and 42 seconds long, written by Boris Blank and Dieter Meier and produced by Yello, and released by Elektra. A music video was filmed in Havana, Cuba in May 1985 after a suggestion from Paul Grau, featuring three orchestras and about 150 dancers to match the Latin feel. Desire also appears on the compilation Essential Yello. The song was later used in the Miami Vice episode "Killshot" (1986) and in the 1991 film Dutch. In the 1985 single sequence, it followed Vicious Games and preceded Oh Yeah.
