Władysław Krasiński
Władysław Krasiński (27 September 1844 – 6 February 1873) was a Polish nobleman, landowner, lawyer and historian. He was the third Ordynat of the Opinogóra estates and the son of the famous poet Zygmunt Krasiński. During the January Uprising he worked in Paris with Prince Władysław Czartoryski. He was passionate about the humanities and organized the ordynat collections. He founded the Library of Ordynat Krasińscy and started a publishing house. In 1868, he published with Władysław Chomętowski the first five volumes. He was married to Countess Róża Potocka and had three children: Adam, Elżbieta Maria, and Zofia. He belonged to the Krasiński noble family and bore the Ślepowron coat of arms.
