Dereham Town Football Club, nicknamed The Magpies, is based in Dereham, Norfolk. Founded in 1884, they play at Aldiss Park, which has a capacity of 2,500 (150 seated). The club’s chairman is Daniel McIlwrath and the manager is Tom Parke. They compete in the Eastern Counties League Premier Division and finished 7th of 20 in the 2024–25 season.

History in brief: The club began as Dereham Football Club and played in local leagues, reaching the Norfolk Senior Cup final in 1892. They were later renamed East Dereham and then Dereham Town in 1920. After stints in the Norfolk & Suffolk League and Anglian Combination, they were briefly known as Dereham Hobbies United in 1986. They won the Anglian Combination Premier Division in 1997–98 and moved up to the Eastern Counties League. They have won the Norfolk Senior Cup four times (2006, 2007, 2016, 2019). In 2012–13 they won the Eastern Counties League Premier Division and joined Isthmian League Division One North. In 2022 they moved to the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands but were relegated back to the Eastern Counties League Premier Division after the 2022–23 season. The reserve team played in the Eastern Counties League until 2017.

Ground: Before World War II they played at Bayfields Meadow, then at the Recreation Ground. Aldiss Park opened in December 1996 after the club bought land in 1991. Norwich City have used Aldiss Park for pre-season friendlies.
