Axel Frische was a Danish screenwriter, actor and film director. He was born on 15 March 1877 in Tjele Parish near Viborg, Denmark, and died on 2 February 1956 in Denmark at the age of 78. He wrote scripts for 23 films between 1914 and 1956 and acted in 18 films between 1932 and 1950, with his career spanning from 1914 to 1956.
