End of an era and legacy
In December 2020, the Premier Lacrosse League announced a merger with Major League Lacrosse to form a single outdoor lacrosse league. The Denver Outlaws did not continue as an independent team in the new league, though the merged league kept the old brands with an option to revive them in the future.
