Dazzle (Hatenkou Yugi) is a fantasy romance manga created by Minari Endoh. It ran from 1999 to 2022, starting in Monthly GFantasy, then moving to Monthly Comic Zero Sum, and finally appearing on the Zero-Sum Online site. The series has 24 volumes in total. In North America, Tokyopop released the English edition, but only the first ten volumes were published.

An anime adaptation titled Hatenkou Yugi aired ten episodes in early 2008. It was produced by Studio Deen, directed by Yoshihiro Takamoto, and written by Yasuhiro Imagawa. In North America, the anime was licensed by Sentai Filmworks.

Plot summary: A young girl named Rahzel is sent out into the world by her eccentric father. She travels solo until she meets Alzeid, a handsome, mysterious man on a quest to avenge his father’s murder. After helping him reclaim his stolen gun, Rahzel decides to join him, promising to make his “lousy and boring” life more interesting. They are soon joined by Baroqueheat, a friend who is a bit of a womanizer.

Extras: The series spawned two drama CDs (2004) and an Internet radio show called Hatenkō Radio (launched in 2007). The first three volumes were re-published after the publisher switch, and the final volume (Volume 24) was released on September 24, 2022.
