David Hunter (American football)
David Darrell Hunter (born September 19, 1989) is a former American football defensive tackle. He played college football at Houston and attended Waller High School in Texas. He is listed at 6 feet 2 inches tall and 301 pounds. After going undrafted in 2012, he signed with the Houston Texans as a free agent. He was added to the Texans’ 53-man roster in October 2012 but did not play due to a toe injury. He returned to Texans for 2013 training camp and was released. He signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on January 6, 2014, but later returned to the Texans, signing again on July 24, 2014. The Texans released him on August 25, 2015. He also spent time with the New Orleans Saints in the 2015 offseason.
