Dancing with the Stars (Greek TV series) season 4
Dancing with the Stars Greece season 4 aired on ANT1 from October 20, 2013 to February 2, 2014, lasting 15 weeks with one week without elimination. The season crowned Isaias Matiamba as the celebrity winner and Maria Antimisari as the professional winner. The show, based on the UK’s Strictly Come Dancing and part of the Dancing with the Stars franchise, used the theme song “It’s Personal” by The Radio Dept. Host Doukissa Nomikou was supported by backstage host Ntoretta Papadimitriou (season 3 winner). The judging panel consisted of Giannis Latsios, Alexis Kostalas, Galena Velikova, and Katia Dandoulaki.
Fourteen celebrities (8 women and 6 men) competed: Chrispa, Katerina Stikoudi, Klelia Pantazi, Konstantina, Mary Synatsaki, Gogo Mastrokosta, Evagelia Aravani, Eleni Chatzidou, Lakis Gavalas, Michalis Mouroutsos, Thanos Kallioras, Sakis Arseniou, Isaias Matiamba, and Alex Kavdas. Their professional partners were announced on October 17, 2013.
Guest judges included Giorgos Liagkas (Week 4), Eugenia Manolidou (Week 8), and Themos Anastasiadis (Week 9); their scores were symbolic and did not affect eliminations. Week 7 featured a freestyle dance to a song of the couples’ choosing. Week 12 announced a trio dance for Week 13, with a past star joining one of the couples. Evagelia Aravani and Alex Kavdas returned from this season to dance with two couples, and Elias Vrettos and Laura Narjes (from season 3) returned as well, with Vrettos and Narjes having finished second and third in season 3. Week 14 saw a second dance performed solo without a professional partner. In the final, the winner was determined solely by public voting, while judges’ scores did not count. The season’s scoring followed a traditional 40-point format, with some guest scores not included.
