DELGA-1
DELGA-1 is a Georgian light assault vehicle built for special forces by STC Delta, under Georgia’s Defence Ministry. The first units were given to Georgian special forces in 2001 for field testing. It is based on a Russian Lada-derived design, making it very light and with limited armor, as is common for this type. Armament is modular and can be chosen as needed. It can carry at least two machine guns and an additional automatic grenade launcher or anti-tank weapon. Since development began, both 4x4 and 6x6 variants have been produced, some with extra transport capacity and armor for better protection. The DELGA family is still being developed.
