Commelina fasciculata

Commelina fasciculata is a tropical, herb-like plant in the spiderwort family (Commelinaceae). It grows in Bolivia and Peru and was first described by Ruiz and Pavón in 1798. The species has a very high chromosome number for monocots: 2n = 180.
