Colwiz is a free, cross‑platform research management tool that combines reference management, collaboration, and productivity for researchers. It works on web, desktop, and mobile, and started at the University of Oxford.

History in brief
- Founded by Tahir Mansoori at Oxford during his PhD research.
- Joined Isis Innovation Software Incubator in 2011; private beta followed by public launch in March 2013.
- Partnered with the American Chemical Society (ACS) and helped launch ACS ChemWorx.
- Released the HTML5 Interactive PDF Reader in collaboration with Royal Society Publishing and Taylor & Francis in December 2013.
- In 2017, Colwiz was acquired by Taylor & Francis.
