Coleophora calycotomella is a small moth in the family Coleophoridae. Scientific name: Coleophora calycotomella (Stainton, 1869). It is found from the Netherlands and Germany to the Iberian Peninsula, and on Sardinia, Sicily and Crete.

Description: The wingspan is about 11.5 to 15 millimeters.

Larvae and feeding: The larvae feed on Adenocarpus, Calicotome and the common broom Cytisus scoparius.

Lifecycle: Full-grown larvae can be found in March and May.

Notes: The species has been described under several other names in the past.
