ClubSwan 50
ClubSwan 50 is a 50‑foot one‑design racer‑cruiser built by Oy Nautor AB in Finland, first launched in 2015 to celebrate Nautor’s Swan’s 50th anniversary. Designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian with Michele Bönan handling the interior, it uses a carbon fiber hull with a foam core and a teak deck. The boat features a deep 11.48‑foot keel (with an optional 7.2‑foot shoal version), a displacement of about 18,188 lb, and 7,605 lb of ballast. It is powered by a Volvo D2‑40 40 hp engine for docking. The fractional Bermuda rig has a fixed bowsprit and square‑top mainsail; upwind sail area is about 1,700 sq ft and downwind about 3,531 sq ft. Standard layout sleeps four (bow double berth and two settees), with an optional third cabin increasing capacity to six. It is designed to sail offshore and can be converted to a sport cruiser with a small crew, and it was recognized as an international class by World Sailing in 2018. The ClubSwan 50 is noted for its bold, high‑tech appearance.
