Clockseed is the fourth studio album by Vampire Rodents, released on April 7, 1995, by Re-Constriction Records. The album runs about 68 minutes and 39 seconds and features many guest vocalists. Daniel Vahnke sings on only four of the twenty-two tracks.

How it was made
- The label’s Chase sent instrumental tapes to a wide group of electro-industrial and Rivethead artists. They added their own lyrics and vocals without direct direction from Daniel.
- This created a broader, more varied sound than the band's previous work.

Notable contributions and themes
- Christian Void of Killing Floor contributed to “Dowager’s Egg” (and worked on “Mother Tongue”). Void explains the song touches on people with diseases like HIV/AIDS and how society treats them.
- Jared Louche (Chemlab) wrote “Low Orbit,” about two deceased friends who visit him in dreams.
- Jason Bazinet (SMP) has regretted the lyrics he and Sean contributed to “Revisioned,” feeling they may have been rushed.

Credits and availability
- All music is by Daniel Vahnke, except “Annexation II” by Victor Wulf and “Chemical Halo” (Sax Mix) by Jared Louche and Dylan Thomas More.
- Clockseed remains out of print but can still be bought via Vampire Rodents’ eBay page.
- Reception was positive from Aiding & Abetting, which called it more accessible than Lullaby Land while still full of discord and sonic oddities.
