ClearFoundation
ClearFoundation is a privately held company in New Zealand that develops and manages ClearOS, an open-source operating system. Founded in 2009, its aim is to develop and maintain ClearOS under an open-source model. The company leads the source code and software repository for ClearOS and serves users around the world.
The ClearFoundation community includes more than 103,100 members from over 150 countries. Members can earn badges by taking part in projects, forums, and other activities related to ClearOS.
ClearOS is a Linux distribution based on CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. It started as ClarkConnect in 2002 and was renamed ClearOS in 2009. ClearCenter develops and supports the paid versions of ClearOS and the ClearOS Marketplace. ClearOS is designed for small and medium businesses as a network gateway and server, with a web-based administration interface.
