Keith Hodges
Keith Hodges is an American politician and pharmacist from Virginia. His full name is Myron Keith Hodges, and he was born on May 6, 1966, in Richmond, Virginia. He grew up on the Middle Peninsula and earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Medical College of Virginia in 1989. He runs Gloucester Pharmacy and lives in Urbanna, Virginia.
A Republican, Hodges was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in 2011 and took office on January 11, 2012. He represented the 98th district from 2012 to 2024 and since 2024 has represented the 68th district, which covers parts of the Middle Peninsula. In 2011 he won a four-way Republican primary with about 41% of the vote and then defeated Democrat Andy Shoukas in the general election (16,647 to 4,556). He was re-elected in 2013 (against Independent Geneva Putt, about 75%), was unopposed in 2015, and won again in 2017 (against Democrat Sheila Crowley, about 65%). In 2022 he became chair of the Counties, Cities and Towns Committee.
Hodges is married to Shelley Gaye Williams since around 1990. They have two daughters, Chloe and Ella. The family lives in Urbanna, Virginia; Chloe attends Randolph-Macon College in Ashland and is a cheerleader for the college’s football team.
