Christian Ulbrich
Christian Ulbrich, born in 1966 in Hamburg, Germany, is the president and CEO of the real estate services firm JLL. He earned a master's degree from the University of Hamburg. After graduating, he worked in finance at MeesPierson and Rabobank Nederland. In 1996 he became CEO of Bank Companie Nord, then led Warburg Bank’s real estate group HIH. He joined JLL in 2005 to run its German operations, and in 2016 he was named global president and CEO — the first German to lead a major global real estate company. He has pushed technology at JLL and created JLL Spark to invest in real estate tech startups. Ulbrich serves on the World Economic Forum’s International Business Council and the Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders, and sits on the boards of Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated and Vonovia.
