Chris Lent
Chris Lent (born March 15, 1988) is an American drummer and keyboardist. He has played with From First to Last, I Set My Friends on Fire, and Dead Reckless, among other projects.
With From First to Last, he joined as the keyboardist and appeared in the Worlds Away video and on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He left the band in 2009 to focus on drumming and contributed to their self-titled album.
In 2009 he joined I Set My Friends on Fire as a touring drummer and soon became a full member. He debuted on the track Four Years Foreplay with Smosh and later appeared on a demo version of Excite Dyke. He also served as keyboardist and composer on their second album Astral Rejection after Nabil Moo left. He and his brother Nicholas Lent wrote the script and treatment for the video It Comes Naturally, directed by Nabil Moo with Nicholas co-directing.
Earlier in his career, Lent played with Dead Reckless, a southern rock project produced by Matt Good and Travis Richter. They toured with From First to Last, He Is Legend, Haste the Day, and Chiodos before disbanding in spring 2006 on tour in Tennessee.
Lent has performed at major festivals and tours, including Download Festival, Rock am Ring, Pinkpop, and Warped Tour, and has done European co-headlining shows with A Skylit Drive. He left I Set My Friends on Fire after an extended period of touring.
