Barbodes clemensi
Barbodes clemensi is an extinct species of cyprinid fish that was found only in Lake Lanao on Mindanao, Philippines. It was one of the local fish known as bagangan and could grow up to about 23.5 cm long. Scientific classification: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Chordata; Class Actinopterygii; Order Cypriniformes; Family Cyprinidae; Genus Barbodes; Species Barbodes clemensi. Binomial name Barbodes clemensi (Herre, 1924). It has also been listed as Puntius clemensi. Conservation status: Extinct (IUCN 3.1).
