Chiba Jets
Chiba Jets Funabashi are a Japanese professional basketball team from Funabashi, Chiba. They play in the B.League’s Eastern Conference, in the league’s top division. The team was founded in 2005 as Chiba Jets and renamed Chiba Jets Funabashi in 2017. They are owned by Mixi and sponsored by Kintaro, with Trevor Gleeson as head coach and Yuta Ikeuchi as team manager. The Jets currently play at Funabashi Arena, but they are moving to Arena Tokyo Bay (LaLa Arena Tokyo-Bay), which has about 11,000 seats and is set to open in spring 2024; they practice at ROCK ICE BASE in Yachiyo. They have won five Emperor’s Cups and the East Asia Super League in 2024, with Yuki Togashi earning MVP honors in the final against the Seoul SK Knights.
