Charles Lowe (cricketer)
Charles Lowe (23 June 1890 – 11 May 1953) was an English cricketer who played for Derbyshire from 1909 to 1912. Born in Whitwell, Derbyshire, he made his debut in 1909 against touring Australians. In 1910 he played his first County Championship match against Leicestershire, with two more Derbyshire appearances that season as the team finished near the bottom of the table. His final first-class appearance came at the start of the 1912 season in a match that was abandoned. He was a right-handed batsman, appearing in 8 innings across 5 first-class matches, with a top score of 17 and an average of 4.16. He also bowled right-arm medium-fast, taking 2 wickets at 45.00, with best figures of 1-20. Lowe died in Worksop aged 63.
