Central Marin Police Authority
Central Marin Police Authority (CMPA) serves Corte Madera, Larkspur, San Anselmo, and parts of Greenbrae in Marin County, California. In 1980, Corte Madera and Larkspur merged their police departments into the Twin Cities Police Authority. On January 1, 2013, after planning and public discussion, the Twin Cities Police Authority and San Anselmo’s police department merged to form CMPA. In 2015, CMPA moved its dispatch services to Marin County, paying $659,935 each year to fund five full-time dispatchers. Before the consolidation, CMPA dispatchers handled about 35,000 calls per year.
