Cecil Dudgeon
Cecil Randolph Dudgeon (7 November 1885 – 4 November 1970) was a Scottish Liberal politician who later joined Oswald Mosley's New Party. He served as Member of Parliament for Galloway from 1922 to 1924. He was elected in 1922 and re-elected unopposed in 1923, but was defeated in 1924. He lost again in the 1925 by-election after the death of his Unionist successor, Arthur Henniker-Hughan, but won the seat back in 1929. In 1931, when Parliament was dissolved, he left the Liberal Party and stood as a New Party candidate, finishing last with 986 votes (2%). He did not stand for Parliament again.
