Canton of Sault

The canton of Sault was a former administrative area in southeast France. It was in the Vaucluse department, in the Provence-Alpes-C Côte d'Azur region. It covered about 249.9 square kilometers and had 3,374 residents in 2012, with a density of about 13.5 people per square kilometer. It consisted of five communes, with Sault as the seat. In March 2015, the canton was disbanded as part of a national reorganization, and its communes joined the canton of Pernes-les-Fontaines.
