Canoeing at the Summer World University Games

- Canoeing is an optional sport at the Universiade. It first appeared in 1987 in Zagreb, Yugoslavia, where Romania was the best nation that year. It then appeared again as an optional sport in 2013 at Kazan, Russia, where Russia was the best nation.
