Canadian Forces Training Command
Canadian Forces Training Command was created after Canada’s armed forces unified in 1968. Led by a two‑star general, it trained pilots for the whole Canadian Forces. In 1975, the command was dissolved during a restructuring, and pilot training moved to the Royal Canadian Air Force. Today, training is handled by individual Royal Canadian Air Force squadrons.
