Canadian Basketball League
Canadian Basketball League (CBL) was a professional basketball minor league based in the Greater Toronto Area in Southern Ontario, Canada. It was founded in July 2014 by former NBA coach Butch Carter and began play in the 2016–17 season before folding in 2017. The league had four Canadian teams and was positioned as a development league. Butch Carter served as CEO. The last champions were the Scarborough Basketball Club. It was broadcast on Yes TV.
