Calamaria grabowskyi
Calamaria grabowskyi, also known as Grabowsky's dwarf snake or Grabowsky's reed snake, is a small snake in the Colubridae family. It is found only on the island of Borneo, in Brunei, Indonesia, and Malaysia. The species is named after biologist Friedrich J. Grabowsky, who worked in Borneo in the 1880s.
Its preferred habitat is forest below about 1,500 meters (4,900 feet). It is a terrestrial snake that spends most of its time in leaf litter on the forest floor.
Size: Females reach about 47 cm long; males are smaller, up to about 37 cm.
Reproduction: It lays eggs (oviparous).
Conservation: It is listed as Least Concern.
