CR-V3 battery

CR-V3 is a high-capacity 3-volt battery used in some gadgets, such as digital cameras. It is the size of two AA batteries placed side by side, so many devices that take AA batteries can use CR-V3 too. Most CR-V3s are non-rechargeable lithium cells with a nominal 3V. Rechargeable versions exist, called RCR-V3, with a Li-ion chemistry and about 3.7V. Some CR-V3 packs, like Duracell Ultra CR-V3, use two 3V AA-sized lithium cells connected in parallel. Some newer CR-V3s use two AA-sized rechargeable cells. Because lithium chemistries store more energy, CR-V3s usually last longer than two AAs. Some models have a small extra charging terminal and may not work with every charger.
