British Virgin Islands men's national basketball team
The British Virgin Islands men's national basketball team represents the territory in international competitions and is run by the British Virgin Islands Amateur Basketball Federation. They joined FIBA in 1979 and compete in the FIBA Americas zone. The team is coached by Keith Malone.
They have not yet qualified for the FIBA AmeriCup. In Centrobasket, they have one appearance (2010). In the Caribbean Championship, they have six appearances, with their best result a silver medal in 2009. Despite the small population, the team has often finished in the top four in recent Caribbean Championship events. They did not participate in the 2015 FIBA CBC Championship.
