Brian Greenway
Brian Gilbert Greenway (born October 1, 1951, in Hawkesbury, Ontario) is a Canadian rock musician known as the longest-serving member of April Wine. He joined the band in 1977, playing guitar, harmonica and singing. He left in 1986 when April Wine broke up, started a solo career, and released the album Serious Business. He rejoined April Wine in 1992 and has stayed with them since. Before joining April Wine, he played in Mashmakhan and The Dudes. He’s credited with helping give April Wine a harder-edged sound. In 1991 he had an hour-long TV special, Brian Greenway and Friends, featuring his solo material and April Wine songs; it aired in Canada in 1991–1992. In 2016 he formed Brian Greenway's Blues Bus with former bandmate Gary Moffet and other musicians. He continues to perform and record.
