Brenda Morehead

Brenda Morehead (born October 5, 1957) is an American sprinter from Monroe, Louisiana. She ran for Toledo Scott High School and took part in the first girls’ high school track meet, winning four events and helping her team win. She competed in the women’s 100 meters at the 1976 Summer Olympics. She qualified for the 1980 U.S. Olympic team but couldn’t compete because of the boycott, and she received a Congressional Gold Medal.
