Branimir Đokić
Branimir Đokić, born February 6, 1950 in Šabac (then part of FPR Yugoslavia), is a Serbian folk accordionist. He has led his own band since the early 1970s and has played with many famous artists, including Šaban Šaulić, Mitar Mirić, Šerif Konjević, Kemal Malovčić and Zorica Brunclik. He led the Radio Television of Serbia Folk Ensemble for 35 years after it was founded in 1980. He studied at Belgrade's Stanković Music School. He won first prize at Sokobanja in 1964, which helped him become a well-known accordion soloist in the former Yugoslavia. Later, he joined the Folk Orchestra of Radio Belgrade, guided by Rade Jašarević and Boki Milošević.
