Blue Paradise is Zerobaseone’s fifth Korean-language EP, released on February 24, 2025, by WakeOne. It has six tracks and runs about 16 minutes. The singles are “Doctor! Doctor!” (released January 20, 2025) and “Blue” (released with the EP on February 24). This release is the second part of the group’s “Paradise” series, following Cinema Paradise in 2024.

Background and context:
After releasing Cinema Paradise in August 2024, Zerobaseone became the first K-pop group to sell one million copies on the first day for four consecutive albums. They also started the Timeless World tour across East and Southeast Asia. They began 2025 with Prezent, their first Japanese-language EP.

Announcements and concept:
On January 9, WakeOne announced “Doctor! Doctor!” would come out January 20, and that the full EP would be released in February (with the exact date later announced as February 24). The EP title Blue Paradise was revealed on February 3, along with a teaser video “Quest: Find Blue.” The second single, “Blue,” was announced on February 7 with a teaser showing a blue fountain.

Music and structure:
Blue Paradise contains six tracks, including three unit songs performed by different sub-units for the first time: Out of Love (Kim Ji-woong, Zhang Hao, Kim Gyu-vin), Step Back (Ricky, Park Gun-wook, Han Yu-jin), and Cruel (Sung Han-bin, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae).

Promotion and performances:
Zerobaseone performed “Doctor! Doctor!” on M Countdown on January 23 with a hospital-themed stage and hand gestures spelling “love.” They also launched the “Doctor! Doctor!” 10 Million Streaming Challenge, pledging 100 million won (about US$87,000) to charity if the song reaches 10 million streams on Melon.

Release events and sales:
A media showcase for Blue Paradise was held in Seoul. The album also ran pop-up stores, including a Seoul location at Hyundai Department Store’s Yeoui-dong floor from February 21 to March 6, with a fountain, games, and a signing event. A second pop-up opened in Tokyo’s Shibuya Line Friends Square Store from March 7 to 25, featuring a media zone and photo booths. On release day, Blue Paradise sold more than 1 million copies in South Korea and debuted at No. 1 on the Circle Album Chart with first-week sales of 1,236,983 copies. In Japan, it debuted at No. 1 on the Oricon Albums Chart with 57,272 copies.
