Birrima
Birrima is a genus of cicadas, also known as tree-tickers, found only in Australia. It belongs to the family Cicadidae, in the subfamily Cicadettinae and the tribe Cicadettini. The genus was first described in 1906 by English entomologist William Lucas Distant. As of 2025, two species have been described in Birrima.
