2019–20 Mississippi State Bulldogs women's basketball team
The 2019–20 Mississippi State Bulldogs women's basketball team represented Mississippi State University in the 2019–20 NCAA Division I season. Led by eighth-year head coach Vic Schaefer, they played home games at Humphrey Coliseum in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They finished with a 27–6 record, 13–3 in SEC play, and were ranked No. 9 in both the Coaches and AP polls. The Bulldogs entered the season after reaching the Elite Eight in 2019, where they lost to Oregon 84–88. After the season, Schaefer resigned to take the head coaching job at Texas. The SEC media poll was released on October 15, 2019.
