Bill Moore (1913–1982) was an English footballer and manager. He was born in Washington, England, and played as a defender. He started with Walker Celtic before joining Stoke City, making four league appearances over two seasons (1936–1937). In 1938 he moved to Mansfield Town, making one appearance.

After World War II he became a trainer at Notts County under manager Eric Houghton. He later joined Aston Villa as Houghton’s right-hand man and helped Villa win the FA Cup in 1957.

In December 1957 Moore became manager of Walsall. He steadied the club, avoided relegation, and led them to the Fourth Division title in 1960 and promotion to the Second Division in 1961. After a decline, Walsall were relegated to the Third Division in 1963, and Moore left to take a scouting role with Fulham.

He returned to Walsall in February 1969 as manager and helped develop players such as Phil Parkes and Ray Train. Financial problems led to his resignation in March 1972 after a disagreement with a coach over a substitution.

Later he ran the Bear Inn in Stafford and died in 1982 at the age of 69.
