Beverly Depot is an MBTA Commuter Rail station in downtown Beverly, Massachusetts. It sits on the Newburyport/Rockport Line and is the junction where the two branches to Newburyport and Rockport split; trains on both branches stop there.

Location and basics
- Address: 12 Park Street, Beverly
- Two tracks and two side platforms; the station is accessible
- Bus connections: CATA routes 8 and 9
- Bicycle facilities and a Pedal and Park cage
- Parking: a three-story, 500-space garage opened in 2014 (fees apply)

History and significance
- Eastern Railroad extended through Beverly to Ipswich in 1839
- The original 1839 depot was replaced in 1855 and then rebuilt in 1897 with a Bradford Lee Gilbert design
- The station building has housed other uses over the years and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979; it’s part of the Beverly Depot–Odell Park Historic District (added in 2014)

Facilities and accessibility
- Modern station facilities are adjacent to the historic depot
- Short high-level platforms at one end and longer low-level platforms on the other end, making the site accessible
- In 2024, Beverly became a test site for a new freestanding accessible platform design to improve accessibility at this and other stations

Parking and development
- The 500-space parking garage opened in August 2014, with electric car charging, roof-mounted solar panels, and a covered walkway to the platforms
- A nearby mixed-use project (completed 2018–19) added residential units and ground-floor shops; the developer leases spaces in the garage
- In 2023, plans were proposed for a three-story, 70-unit building atop the garage

Recent improvements
- The MBTA has been updating the accessible mini-high platforms as part of broader accessibility upgrades, with pilot construction of temporary platforms starting in 2024

Beverly Depot serves as a key transfer point on the Newburyport/Rockport Line and continues to be a historically important hub in Beverly.
