Ben 10: Alien Force
Ben 10: Alien Force is an American animated TV series created by Man of Action. It is the sequel to the original Ben 10 show, taking place five years later with Ben Tennyson as a teenager. Ben, along with his friends Gwen and Kevin, uses the Omnitrix—a wristwatch that lets him transform into many alien heroes—to protect Earth and other worlds from alien threats. The tone is darker and more mature than the first series, with more serious plots and some character deaths.
The show aired on Cartoon Network from April 18, 2008, to March 26, 2010, spanning three seasons and 46 episodes. It stars Yuri Lowenthal as Ben, Ashley Johnson as Gwen, and Greg Cipes as Kevin Levin. The Omnitrix itself was redesigned to look sleeker and green, and it also works as a communicator, translator, and access key to the Extranet. The change in design sparked mixed reactions from fans.
Ben 10: Alien Force was nominated for four Emmy Awards and won one for Outstanding Sound Mixing – Live Action and Animation. A live-action movie, Ben 10: Alien Swarm, followed in 2009. The series also led to further installments in the franchise, including Ben 10: Ultimate Alien (2010) and Ben 10: Omniverse. Toys, video games, and Lego sets were created based on the show, expanding its universe for fans.
